Ice skating

The ice is eating away at the channel markers




the ice has grown thick between the islands

I bring a plank to test the ice




It seems solid, so I walk over to the next island...many boats are not hauled.

My friends on the neighbor island are quite surprised to get a visitor for the morning tea.




Time to head back, across the sound.

...and they're great fun!
