Driving back the next day, we try the inland route via Thorsmörk.
The river flows 40cm (over a foot) deep and we decide that our rentals may not make it :-(
We turn around and take the coastal route back.......a two hour detour on seriously rugged roads...fun!
So we hit the Blue Lagoon, this our last evening.
