Diving Strytan
June 14, 2009
Waking up at 8am...the sun has been up for 6 hours already. Or day starts at a nearby fishing village.
Most of us board a boat and head out the Akureyri fjord.
Another world-famous dive awaits...

This dive is around Strytan, a "chimney" formed around a geothermal hot spring.
A rather deep dive, Strytan goes from the floor at 70m to about 15m.
Being out in the ocean, the visibility is about avergae - but there's plenty of marine life around this hot "chimney".
