Visit the chamber
January 16, 2008
We're back on the jeep for a ride, to visit a hospital.
Due to the popularity of scuba diving, many hospitals specialize in treating decompression sickness.
A pressurized chamber puts the patient back at 20-30 meters, then slowly brings them up to surface level (as oppose to the speedy ascend that caused the decompression sickness)
There's room for medical staff and lots of equipment
...so you can bring all your friends!
A doctor gives us a through walkthrough of the procedure and the medicals involved.

...and so, the evening falls over a windy Red Sea coastline.
