My sister has this nice place up in the mountains...
where the fur trees grow
and the rivers run wild
Some just call it "South Lake".
My sister likes her new home.
Lots of snow in the winter, lots of sun in the summer....
Sometimes too much, a fire claimed 260 homes just weeks ago.

flame retardant sprayed from airplanes covers the ground
Looks like someone evacuated without even turning off the sprinklers....now frozen.
With cleanup still going, new construction is heavily underway.
A population proud to prevail.
