Farewell, sailors
February 4, 2007
It's my last day in Sydney, and I opt for Bondi Beach.
As it turns out, the are lots of blue bottles in the water today...and most people stay out of it.
A small jellyfish, with one long, blue thread that burns you...
Since we had a good swim yesterday, we both stay in the sun and just soak today.
Later on, we team up with our sailor friends for lunch over in Watsons Bay:
Bryan, Laura, Scott, Annie, Rob, Michelle, Christine, me
Scott, Annie
speed ferry to Double Bay
The Double Bay yacht club offers good beer and a good atmosphere
Annie, Rob, me, Christine
Bryan, Laura
Next venue: The Royal Hotel rooftop
We end the day enjoying Wasavi's absolutely spectacular Japanese food.
Dave, Jules, Laura
Gemma is showing me her swimming with dolphins photos from last weekend
We watch as the chefs cut up a raw salmon, and I get to experience the wonderful taste of day-fresh raw salmon, tuna, and king fish.
Michelle, Bryan, Gemma, Dave, Jules, Laura, Scott
Oh, and Christine and myself.
Not a farewell, but a see-you-all-soon....!!
