UCAC ski trip
March 3-5, 2006

Inbetween storms, this weekend is about UCAC, Squaw, and lots fresh powder.

Aided by late GPS technology, Gilead and Lori and I head for the mountains.

Blue skies. Looks great. Is that a rainbow?

Yeah, we caught up with the weather...and the 330km trip took 10 hours.
I could just as well have taken my bicycle.

In any event, we head for a crammed packed Squaw Valley the next morning, in search of that perfect powder.

Mission accomplished - and there's tons of it!

fun, fun

Lis finds lunch quite fun too, it appears

Lis, Rose, Freddy, Dennis, Becky, me - ready to go again!

...but we weren't quite the only ones there.

Saturday night - the feast is served!

Sunday eventually dawns and we head back down early to beat the next storm.
