A sunny day is dawning...the first in months.
To get as close to the sun as possible, we head up 4000 feet...to the top of Mt Diablo.

As green as it ever gets...late april...and after months of rain.

Erika made a true favorite - ground beef patties with onion, brown gravy, lingonberries, and potatoes.
I get hungry just looking at this picture.
The next day is their last. A morning walk in the spring bloom.
