Christine and I are going to Canberra, the capital of Australia.

I have joined an organization called "Young Professionals", a group of mainly Swedish entrepenours.

Christine is chief organizer for this weekend's event, the "Power Weekend" in Canberra - a visit to the Australian parliament in Canberra.

Anders is going with us as well, and the three of us rented a car...
...and I got a chance to familiarize myself with driving on the wrong side of the road!
We start out going south along the Pacific Highway.
Stopping for a swim in the cute town of Wollongong.

If you ever find yourself bored in the back seat of a car...
;-)
Checking out Floriade, the annual flower exhibition in Canberra.
A small scale version of the flora in each state.
(Notice the sailboats going from Sydney to Hobart!)
In the background, you see the Australia's new parliament building.

Here's a blurry glimpse of the suite the three of us shared.
A much too short part of the afternoon is spent at the War Memorial, a museum portraying Australia's history of battles.
The building itself is quite impressive.

It is also perfectly alined along the parade street towards the old and new parliament buildings, in turn tucked inbetween two hilltops.

A wall is filled with names of fallen soldiers.
Notice how the last one is open ended...
