The road trip started even before hitting the road; here I am atop the Berkeley Hills, reading tour books about the USA.
The sun eventually sets, and I close my books.
Heading through the Bay Bridge construction mess...
...to pick Christine up at the airport - fresh from Sydney, Australia.
Some initial shopping, to equip ourselves for the great outdoors.
Yep, this one will do.
But you can't visit the Bay Area without checking out a few must-sees.
One of many tourist traps in the city.
I certainly don't mind - I always enjoy a trip to the city.
Clam showder....must see what all the fuss is about.
