After letting Eithne out of the rear seat, the driver's seat refused to move back...
And I'm waaay to tall to fit with the seat all the way forward.
Not much else to do, than to dive down there and figure out what's wrong.
First, get that leather cover away, to inspect any moving parts...
Problem found!
A microswitch (1) is indicating that the seatback is always folded forward,
because an arm (2) pushing the switch is not moving due to a spring (3) being loose.
By comparing to the passenger seat, I figured out that the spring should be attached to a plastic nob...that's broken off.
Instead, I ended up anchoring the spring to a piece of wire attached to the base of the seat.
Works like a charm!
