A leasurly drive to Kirkwood on a Saturday morning... We got lucky right at Kirkwood; cars parked on the road, people out of their cars... The line never seemed to end, probably some accident further up the road. We didn't get caught this time.
So we put on our skis and headed for the trails.

We all gather up at Hanna's & Chuck's to cook a delicious meal.
[teriyaki flank steak, arugula salad, mash & gravy]
for dessert - poached pears with French vanilla ice cream, whiskey
We're back at Kirkwood next morning to enjoy the alpine slopes.
