Soten to Hunnebo
July 24, 2005
1
Audrey, Martina, and I board up 'Andante' for this year's summer treat - to spend a week cruising around the Swedish west coast.

3
We're usually two or more boats - here comes Martin & crew on 'Nessie'.
4
Good winds our first day out makes for a grand opening of our sailing week.

Yes, it was on the nippy side this year. Highs only hovering in the 70's, with the water being very much the same temperature.

We land in Hunnebostrand, Tomas ties up the stern line.
14
Since we're in the middle of the major Swedish vacation, there are lots and lots of boat around.

We also drop Tomas off, so now there's three of us.
50
Tying up for the night, at what appears to be a nice and quiet spot.
51
52
As we're firing up the barbeques, however, the winds pick up quickly - and things get a little hectic for a while.
53
We move our boats around the corner, to an even quieter spot...
54
...and fire the barbeques back up.
