Chocolate!

1
Checking out the chocolate exhibit at the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco
In the background, a chocolate tree. Foot-long fruits carry lots of chocolate seeds inside.
2
Accompanied by Sarah and Sandro, Audrey and I see how chocolate is prepared, traded, sold, and enjoyed through the centuries.
3
The lobby also features a clever way to collect money - a money jar that people are quite eager to throw money into, since they put on quite a show going down...
4
[swooosh]
5
The chocolate seeds are easily turned into delicious chocolate; they are just simply roasted, cracked, ground, pressed, mixed with milk and sugar, mangled, churned, and tempered. Just like that!
6
Chocolate today comes in many shapes, brands, and sizes.
7
The Academy of Scienses also features an aquarium exhibit.
8
We're watching the penguins being fed by a (dismembered?) woman.
