Good grief, this is a hot day. I'm riding Claremont all the to the top at Grizzly Peak. A good one hour climb...gotta bring water next time.
But the view is clearly worth it!
-Unfortunatley, you can also spot the smog real well on a hot day like this.
Dropping down the other side, I end up at "Ali's and Antony's pre-wedding BBQ" in Tilden Park.
Tifani & Roger (the organizers) are tending the grill and producing fabulous chicken and veggie skewers
...and some stunning fruit salad!
And, above all - the wedding cake!
Basically a good stack of caramelized French "profyterole"...truly something for the sweet tooth.
Antony digs in...with scissors.
We're finaly finally making a good dent in it.
After our feast, we all go head-to-head in crocket.

Yes, the playground was quite slopy....a three inch putt could send you 50 feet downhill.
Well, guess who won?
-You gotta be as crooked as the playground to win this, man. :-)
A broken shifting wire housing kept me in my higher gears for the hilly ride home......quite some good excercise there...
