Another hot Indian Summer day...I get on my bike and head for the coast.
Summer it is, indeed, and the city if packed with tourists.

A little while later, I join Christof and Imola on Baker Beach.
Unusually crowded for a San Franciscan beach...
...and unusually warm waters too, well into the 70's.

Jane and Sandrine joined us a few hours later...
Who can escape the beach on a day like this???
Off on a walk up the hill, towards the gate...
Evening falls, and I start my way home on the bike.
The ride along Marina Blvd was memorable...lots of people out...the sun in my back and a warm downwind.
We hooked up once again for lemonade & muffins at The Grove on Chestnut@Avila.
The sun set as I rode through the city. We were both heading home for the night.
