The evening started with dinner at Garibaldi's on College Ave in Berkeley. We enjoyed excellent food and three bottles of wine for 4½ hours.

I enjoed Italian mushroom soup, then an onion tarte, followed by roasted beef with casserole, topped off with Grand Marnier ice cream accompanied by a cup of Ghirardelli hot chocolate.
